Our Team Beginner program
(Past Sparks)
is designed for ages 5-8 for children who are new to our set of special programs here at RAD Moves Dance Studio. Team dancers will begin to explore a variety of genres, including Ballet, Jazz, and Tap. This program focuses on building a sense of sisterhood and brotherhood among like-minded dance enthusiasts. It’s a space where young dancers can deepen their love for dance, while improving their movement, turning, jumping, and self-expression skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Team Beginners are highly encouraged to attend weekly classes from September to May. We think of the program as a 3–6 year journey—starting in beginner, progressing to Team Intermediate, and eventually advancing to our highest level. It’s a path designed to challenge, inspire, and elevate.
They will have one performance this year in May and for our spring session they will be required to come regularly to classes and buy a costume for the show and a uniform to come to class in and to cover up their costumes
Our Hip-Hop Squad
is an exciting, high-energy class built for dancers ready to push themselves and level up their skills. This 1 hour and 15-minute advanced class is designed for kids who are passionate about hip-hop and ready to commit to growth, teamwork, and performance.
Dancers in this squad dive deep into advanced hip-hop technique, learn how to master intricate movement patterns, and fine-tune their rhythm and musicality. The year kicks off with a beginner-friendly Hip-Hop Camp to jumpstart their training and bond the group—laying the foundation for a strong, connected team.
Throughout the season, the squad continues to build choreography, sharpen performance quality, and train with purpose. They participate in one competition each year and finish the season with an unforgettable end-of-year recital performance.
Whether they’re battling in rehearsals or performing under the lights, Hip-Hop Squad dancers bring the energy, the drive, and the love for the art form.
